GTR Journey 03_Skyline BNR34 Chasing the Dream.

Sorry to keep you all waiting 🙏, it’s been over a year… I didn’t expect time to fly by. The core focus of this GTR journey episode regarding the R34 has been a real challenge for me. Because of its price, getting this car in motion for filming is incredibly difficult anywhere in the world. I even contacted street bike teams in Japan, but their quotes were outrageous. I can’t just focus on how expensive this car is… I also tried to find some special owners, even contacting the two MCRs sold by Shinichi Kobayashi, the fastest C1 driver, but we were turned down. So, you’ll see a lot of footage from previous videos, but it took me four years to accumulate this material for this episode. However, within this footage, we discovered the true core of this car’s appeal precisely because it’s so unattainable—it’s the dream car that most JDM enthusiasts yearn for but can’t have… including my two admired media personalities, @dino_dc and @LarryChenPhoto! I was fortunate to have the opportunity to feature them on my show this time, and I’m also grateful to GTSHOW for arranging a separate interview with Mr. Tamura. We asked many questions about the R35, which will be covered in the next episode, but that next episode will probably be a long way off! I’m truly sorry, these past few years of filming have really cost me a lot of my savings, and my income has also decreased sharply 😭… Even after selling my car at the end of 2022, I haven’t had enough savings to buy a new one, haha. Although I can’t afford an R34 either, this is a small fulfillment of my dream of owning one. In short, although I filmed a car that doesn’t even exist here… some stories are just so captivating.
