VW Golf Mk6 GTI Racecar.

This is a video I shot last May during my trip to Japan of a personal racing MK6. The owner, Yuto, is Ah Hai’s neighbor in Japan, haha. I was staying near their house at the time, so I asked Yuto to come out and film some clips. I originally planned to include it in the Wekfest compilation, but this car didn’t participate in the event, which felt a bit odd. I didn’t film many clips at the time, and Yuto’s MK6 has evolved quite a bit since then! So I haven’t been able to figure out how to edit it. I don’t have any plans to go to Japan this May, so I’ve taken this time to organize and think about it. Even though I didn’t capture its coolest moments, the headlight removal and the large aerodynamic front splitter are enough to show the car’s character! I hope to have the opportunity to film a full version of this car for Yuto again, because it’s truly rare to see someone drive a Golf GTI so well!
